These terms and conditions explain your rights and obligations, in relation to this website and any items purchased through this site. They also explain how to purchase from us, our delivery procedures, replacement, refund and returns policy and how to contact us if you have a complaint.
Please read them carefully and ensure you fully understand them before you place an order. You may also have other rights granted by law and these terms do not affect these rights. If anything within these terms & conditions is not fully understood, please contact us via the contact us page.
Purchasing from us
Delivery information
Fasteners Fixings & Tools only offer delivery to England, Wales and certain parts of Scotland.
Fasteners Fixings & Tools Offers a free next working day delivery service on all complete orders placed before 3PM and over £50.00 exclusive of VAT. Orders below this value will be charged carriage based on the weight of the order. The delivery charge for your goods will be clearly shown in both your shopping basket and your order confirmation.
Orders placed after 3PM will be despatched the next working day.
Orders Placed with items on a 2/3 day delivery will be delivered the next working day when complete.
Delivery is normally made to the address of the payment card. Deliveries to other address can be made by filling in the necessary delivery details when requested. Fasteners Fixings & Tools do not accept any liability where goods are requested to be delivered to an alternative
All items on your order will be delivered in one shipment. Delivery is normally next working day for complete orders placed before 3pm. For periods that include bank holidays please allow these as extra days when ordering your goods.
All deliveries are made by our carriers and will require a signature before goods can be left. If your delivery address is hard to find please forward details to us to help the delivery driver via our contact us page or the email address notified in your order acknowledgement, stating your order Acknowledgement number.
Our stock control process is fully automated and very accurate. In the unlikely event of stock loss/error we will email the customer offering a revised delivery date or the option to cancel without penalty. Please note that whilst we always aim to meet the advised delivery dates, time scales for deliveries cannot be guaranteed. Delayed delivery may result from circumstances beyond our control, such as but not limited to: delays on roads, floods and extreme weather, vehicle breakdown etc. Fasteners Fixings & Tools cannot be held responsible for any consequential expenses if delivery is delayed.

Product availability
It is our aim, always to supply exactly what has been agreed and what the customer has ordered. In the unlikely event of stock loss or error we will email the customer offering a revised delivery date or the option to cancel without penalty.
Returns and replacement
Please check your order as soon as it arrives, keeping all delivery paperwork and packaging until you have checked and verified the paperwork enclosed. Please unpack items carefully to avoid damage to the packaging and the products within. Any damaged parcels must be signed as such with the delivery driver and notified to us within 24 hours of receipt of your order.
Any incorrect or missing items must be reported in writing to Fasteners Fixings and Tools within 48 hours of delivery. Notification after this period may NOT be accepted.
Upon notification of a shortage or an error, we will immediately investigate the matter and resolve it as quickly as possible with no additional delivery charge.
Incorrect items must be retained and be available for collection by our carrier. We will advise the collection date. Goods must be re-packed securely, in their original packaging and ready for collection on this date. Should our carrier be unable to collect an item more than twice you may incur a collection charge.
We reserve the right to inspect any faulty items sent to you before replacing them.
Should any items not meet with your approval you have the right to return them to us for credit, (excluding carriage) providing they are unused and it is within 14 days of receipt. Should you wish to return any items under the DTI Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulation 2000, please contact us via e-mail or by our contact us page , stating the invoice/delivery note number and the item/s you wish to return. We will issue you with an NRC number which must be put on the outside of the box along with the correct return delivery address. Please ensure all items are packed securely and that you return the item via a method that allows tracking of your item. In this situation Fasteners Fixings & Tools does not pay the return cost of carriage.
On return of your unwanted item/s you will be issued a refund, once we have inspected them to ensure they are in a resalable condition. It is your responsibility to ensure that they arrive in a resalable condition.
In the unlikely event that you find an item to be faulty on use please contact us by email or by our contact us page stating the invoice/delivery note number, item/s and the problem you have. We will do our utmost to rectify the problem within the shortest period possible.
With the passing of time items will show signs of wear and tear, this is to be expected and does not indicate a fault in the item.
In the event of a fault, you will more than likely be asked to return the item for inspection and where appropriate a replacement or refund will be issued, or a partial refund depending upon the length of time you have had the product.
In the event that you wish to claim against Fasteners Fixings & Tools for whatever reason, please note that the limit of our liability is the value of the goods supplied. We do not pay compensation for any other factors or subsequent losses.
